The gods of Io loom close to the world of mortals—in some cases close enough to take physical form. These are but a few of the many gods, goddesses, and various transcendent entities roaming the world:

Kuyutha: The Divine Half-Dragon, the object of worship of the Church of Kuyutha, goddess of light, healing, and good. In an ancient time she deigned to descend on Io and incarnate into physical form as Theanill, and established the Divine Kingdom of Theanill.

Theanill: The Divine Half-Dragon Kuyutha’s physical incarnation. She sits at the top of a platinum spire at the center of Braham, the capital of the Divine Kingdom, and speaks mostly only through her Oracles.

Lune: A god/goddess of the moon, of safekeeping, of sleep, wanderlust, and navigation. Their affect is said to change with the phases of the moon, and believers refer to her as the goddess Selune as the moon waxes, and the god Lunala as it wanes. Silverstone Twillspun, one of the Twelve Legends, is a powerful cleric of Lune.

Fu`una: A goddess of trade, wealth, and prosperity, but also of duplicity, thievery, and trickery. Known to take the form of a white fox wearing a string of gold pieces. Her image is a kind of symbol of Hizu, the merchant city, and she’s cursed, pled with, and praised in equal measure in gambling-houses across the continents.

Tayt: The Goddess of the Weave, of textiles, craft, production, magic, and technology. It is said she spins the Weave of magic on her loom night and day, and images of her are found in classrooms, textbooks, and workshops.

Bishamon: The Sword-God, god of swords, war, combat, and laws. His symbols are found on many of the Imperial Army’s battle standards and shields. The Tournament of Swords is held in honor of Bishamon.

C’tarnidd, the Eldest: There is one older than everything else: The Eldest. This creature of immense power was the first thing in existence in this plane, and was already considered ancient when many gods came into being. It has seen all there ever was, and will likely see all of what there is to come.
