This worn, palm-sized paper pamphlet is yellowed with age, and dog-eared from so many hands thumbing through it. It reads: TO THE DEAR READER: As an avid Adventurer and Collector of strange Relicks, tchotchkes, and Artifacts of any kind, I have endeavoured to gather Knowledge of any possible instances of these aforementioned Objects and plan to issue it thusly forthwith. The Relicks detailed below may, in all honesty, not actually Exist, but I have deigned to reduce the Number of such anomalies to the best of my ability.
Key of Blue Skies
This Object is in all truth likely the realm of Mythology. From what I have gathered, this is an artifact that features prominently in many legends of Libre, a Goddess commonly associated with unity, peace, and freedom. In her Legends, the Key of Blue Skies is a small metallic Key, sky-blue in Hue, imbued with incredible Divine power. Its Purposes are implied to be diverse, from saving humanity from an invasion of Devils and Demons, to transportation across Planes.
Kuyutha’s Aegis
This is possibly the most well-known of these Relicks, as it is a divine object of the Kuyuthan religion. It is a platinum shield forged from the scales of Theanill, apparently once wielded by Theanill Herself in times of Yore. It hangs, as I am told, somewhere in the vaunted halls of the Headquarters of the Order of Tamarand in the City of Brahm. While I have never heard of its Use in the modern Day, it is surely a divine Artifact of most potent power.
“Portrait of Mother”
As the Story goes, a poor Goblin in the far rural reaches of the Provinces stumbled upon a set of artists’ paints. Though he had no money with which to purchase more supplies, he was enamoured with the beauty of the Art which could be brought forth, and dedicated his life to learning to paint with little more than a single brush and a few tubes of cheap Paint. Years later, he eventually became a Master of his Craft, but had only enough paint for a single, palm-sized painting, a portrait of his Mother. It was his Masterpiece, and while the Artist’s name has since faded into obscurity, I am told a mere glimpse of the piece in its sheer Beauty is enough to fell any appreciator of Art. The piece itself has achieved a mythic status among collectors. It seems to have changed hands many times over, and I know not where it lies today.
Six Elixirs
I am told, by my friends versed in the art of Alchemy, that these six elixirs are famed less for the fact of their Existence than for the arcane formulae that must exist to craft them, inimitable as they are. The six are thus: A Black Elixir, an Elixir of Gold, an Elixir of Iron, an Elixir of Jade, an Elixir of Pearl, and an Elixir of Ruby. One of these Elixirs (I know not Which exactly) is famed to bestow eternal life, while another can Resurrect the Dead even when normal Magick would not allow for such a thing to occur.
Crown of Rhodos
This much-Famed crown of pure Gold, emblazoned with a magnificent array of Jewels, is the heirloom of the Rhododendra family, and has been passed down as an eminent Symbol of their reign from many generations ago. I had the fortune of seeing it Myself once, and I almost knelt at once!
Fu`una’s Coin
As Legend has it, the Goddess of Wealth, Fu`una, disguised as a white fox, once gave a passing traveler one of the golden coins hanging on a String around her neck as a reward for their shrewdness. It brings fortune, I have Heard, but is equally capable of bringing one great Misfortune, so I warn any potential Seeker of this treasure of this property.
Labyrinthine Heart
The great Maze of Labyros in its namesake city, I have heard, is rumored to contain an ancient Relick, its Heart, at its very center. It must contain the very power of Creation itself, to fuel the Great Labyrinth’s seemingly infinite configurations. I must confess this is mostly Hearsay, as I know of no soul to have ventured more than sixty-seven stair-cases into the dreaded Maze, and since I have no urges to end my Career in a neat fashion, I have refrained from venturing in myself.
